Rich Davies & Rich Potter | The Limb-itless Expedition
Welcome to The Limbitless Expedition, where Armed Forces veterans, Rich Davies, and Rich Potter, both below knee amputees as a result of complex traumas, leading to Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, are rewriting the limits of what's possible for amputees. The duo of determined individuals are gearing up to embark on a groundbreaking journey: conquering The Snowman Trek, the most challenging trek in Bhutan, a Buddhist kingdom on the Himalayas’ eastern edge, known for its monasteries, fortresses (or dzongs) and dramatic landscapes that range from subtropical plains to steep mountains and valleys.
Billed as the toughest trek in the world and often referred to as the Everest of trekking. The trail crosses eleven mountain passes at altitudes of over 5,500m, where they'll stay above 4,000m for most of the trek. The pair with their guides from Breathe Bhutan will cover a distance of just over 200 miles in less than 40 days.
But that's not all - we're not just aiming to complete it; we're aiming to set a World Record as the first and fastest amputees to do so! Our journey to a world record hopes to become a beacon of inspiration for others. By pushing our limits, we hope to inspire others around to dream bigger, work harder, and reach for their own extraordinary goals. Success becomes a ripple effect, creating a wave of motivation in the lives of others.
By supporting The Limbitless Expedition, you're not only helping us achieve our dream of setting a world record, but you're also making a tangible difference in the lives of veterans, service personnel and their families.
